Discovery of the lagoon in the National Park of Guadeloupe

Our educational excursions recommended by the national parks of France

This adventure will allow you to discover our playground in several stages and three sessions of P.M.T*

Discovery of the lagoon with comments of one of our captain/guide ,then we are going to the "carenage "natural park ,then the "white island" with several species of birds who nest all year round .

Then first session of P.M.T on a wreck from 1966 in a giant aquarium.

Then ,a second underwater discovery of a coral reef in a 2 feet deep swimming pool .

To complete our tour ,the navy mangrove near the island of the "BICHE",is the subject of 20 minutes of technical comments followed by the biotype between the mangroves roots .

And at the end after alls these efforts a home made planter ( plenty of Rhum)will be served in a special location chosen by your captain .

Your guide

The staff of "Nico excursions" receive a formation from the association National park & "Guadeloupe autrement"more than 15 years. Each guide has additional specificities,and that why you will have the best from them as they are all professional.

During the year there are also some excursion between 3Pm and 6.30 PM under different lights ,a delight for photographers .

White island

Our first stage will allow us to discover with detailed comments ,the White island center of natural park of "carenage' with clear weather we can see the island of Montserrat,the rock of "the English head' and Kawane .Many informations are discussed through these observations .And 10 Miles est from the coast ,we can see the 'pointe de la grande vigie'.

Wreckage

Sailing above two wrecks immersed inside the lagoon ,one of the wreckage is just near the coral reef it is the time to swim in the geant aquarium ....Lobster are often in those areas .

Navy mangrove

2 kilometers from the coast ,no mosquitos

A stop in the mangrove of the "BICHE"for 20 minutes of commentary of this rich ecosystem of sea wildlife

Caret island in transformation

To day this island has tightened enormously.Since 5 years the swell of the north,natural phenomenon,has removed the sand and the Human behavior does not help.

We prefer to avoid this site.

The birds

In the mangrove.we can observe ,Fregates ,pelicans,and more ,birds-lovers wont be left behind.the incredible richness of the natural reserve of the national park of Guadeloupe will leave you speechless .

Nico's pool and its coral reef

Swimming enthusiasts will enjoy the pool in the center of the lagoon ,2 feet deep,they also will discover a small growing island not far from the pool.

For the snorkling ,a beautiful reef full of colored fishes,sponges and corals.

Every one will find with no doubt their happiness.
